Intro to Music Theory
For the student who wants to know how music works.
Our hope is that this will lead to a desire to learn to play an instrument someday soon! We will learn the foundational building blocks of music theory, and get some insight into the many instruments that exist in the world today and what they can do.
Music Appreciation
For the student who isn’t interested in learning to play an instrument. While we won't be so focused on how read and make music, we will have loads of fun learning about the unique artforms of music around the world, discover new and exciting genres and instruments, and dive into the history of music and the composers that paved the road to all that we know and enjoy today!
